Working with National Geographic

Yesterday, Common Grounders, along with interns from Goodwin College and Quinnipiac University, staff and clients from Community Health Resources in Manchester, land owners from Crystal Lake, a professional photographer, and a partner of National Geographic’s Critter Cam research met in Ellington to set a trap for Snapping Turtles. These members with an interest in the natural world had an opportunity to work with allies from various backgrounds and learn the true meaning of community partnership.

Everyone had a wonderful time at Quassy this week. I am so proud of our staff and members for putting this whole thing together, especially Beverly and Troy. Thank you all for all you do!
