Today members from Common ground were happy to go to a panel discussion on the mental health care system. Anthony Pierlioni, Manager of Social Rehabilitation and Young Adult Services sat on the panel. William Young was also in attendance with us. It was a great day for us members of Common Ground.

First WHAM Training in CT!
Yesterday, Common Ground became the venue for the first WHAM (Wellness Health Action Management) Training offered in the state of Connecticut. We are excited to be here for the start of this new movement to help us all be as healthy and happy as possible! The best part is that two of our former members, and current Advocacy Unlimited staff, Torry and Alan, came back to run the program for us, and did a wonderful job! We are so grateful for their sharing their time and expertise with us.
Mayor’s Annual Clean-Up Day
On Saturday members of Common Ground joined the Mayor of East Hartford for the Annual Mayor’s Cleanup Day at the Town Green. Participants worked hard all morning, to help beautify the streets of town.
YASBIZ LIFE SKILLS SCRIPT WRITING WORKSHOP
The InterCommunity young adult team went to West Haven for a great workshop for script writing for life skills videos that will be featured on TurningPointCT.
